Daisy Apartments

(Apartments in Kalamaki)

We were at Daisy Apartments at the beginning of August and we found it just right for our needs.  They were perfectly situated for the busy and quiet part of Kalamaki.  As other people have said Georgios was lovely food and at a very reasonable price.  We went there quite a few times during the two weeks we were there.  The apartments were good and kept clean.  I was a bit concerned about the cat comments but even though we were on the ground floor in no 4 apartment we did not have any trouble at all.  The only downside I found was the bar area was a bit dowdy and although the staff were friendly enough I thought they could have done with a bit of smartening up too. Othwise I would recommend these apartments to anybody

Hi James

We're flying out in a couple of weeks to Daisys so glad your review was so positive! Can you tell me are there safety deposit boxes at Daisys or did you use one somewhere else if so how much were they?

Thanks Sam

Hi all,

I am coming with my partner next week and we like eating out a lot, what are the restaurants in kalamki like and how are they priced? What is the price of wine? As in Turkey last year it was about £40.00 a bottle :( Also where are the quads hired from? Kalamaki itself?

Thanks
Amy

Hi Clare,

The main beach I would say is about a 20ish min walk ( we went on the quad so didnt actually walk it) although you can access part of the beach which is 5 mins away.  Pool Bar prices varied but we would typically have a glass of wine and a bottle of beer and it roughly was 5euros, same if we had Smirnoff ice or similar.  The beach is really nice you can go really far out but still have your feet on the bottom.

Best wishes

Hello Again.
I stayed in Daisy's 6 years ago. I don't think I had the pleasure in eating in Georgio's then. Where is it by?

Regards

Hi Mark & Mel,

We were the very first people there but quickly joined by more and more people.  The restaurants are lovely, a particular favourite of ours was Georgios really nice family run business (if you go say hello to Zoe!!!)  Foods really nice with wonderful Greek food but the standard British stuff (there is a facination for Roast Dinners on a Sunday!!)  We hired a Quad Bike for 3 days for 50 euros which gave us such freedom and a great sun tan. If you want to know anything else let me know, I hope you enjoy your hols
